Placenta Encapsulation is a wonderful service that turns your placenta into easy to take capsules designed to help you have a happier postpartum experience.

Amethyst Birth Services offers Placenta Encapsulation for $150 (includes pick up/drop off, cord keep sake & placenta prints)
Option to have placenta and capsules reiki infused.
Mothers who choose to encapsulate their placentas report increased energy, easier time with hormone related inconveniences post birth, less postpartum depression in moms with a history in past pregnancies, and increased amount of breastmilk with a quicker turnover from colostrum to regular breast milk. The placenta not only holds high amounts of iron to replenish the body post birth it also holds the same hormone balance you had at birth for 4-5 days before starting to break down. This helps moms gently decrease their hormone levels instead of having a hormone “crash” 3-5 days post birth.

Nicole Regan Owner & Placenta Encapsulation Specialist
Nicole Regan is a mother of 3, wife and lover of postpartum care. Through out her own pregnancy and postpartum journeys she discovered the importance of supporting mothers. Noticing the difference in each with postpartum support and encapsulation vs not, is what inspired opening Amethyst Birth Services. Nicole truly believes that empowering the mother from pregnancy, in birth and after, is of the most importance.
Nicole says: "Back story about me, I am a mom to 2 wonderful kids & currently expecting this fall! I have always loved the birth world and the natural side of life! When I had my son my experience was nothing of that sort. He was 6 weeks early, I developed really bad PPD and overall wasn’t ok for a while. But there’s always light at the end of the tunnel! I promise it does get better!
When I became pregnant with my daughter I did everything I could to educate and research what my options are. I felt empowered and ready! They classified her birth as “an unassisted home birth in a hospital setting” it was magical! I found out about placenta encapsulation and it was a must after her! Therefore I never did have PPD again! I didn’t have milk supply issues. It changed everything for me! That’s when I knew I wanted to help others! My passion just grew and grew! I trained directly under Licensed Midwife, Sarah Kankiewicz. I am grateful because I can now offer my services to other moms here in Arizona. "
